Arizona Teacher and Lawyer Joshua Zatcoff
Joshua Zatcoff began his career as an Arizona teacher in 2014 at Mesa Public Schools, a role that involved performing all Spanish-language intake processing for new students. He subsequently spent four years as the advanced placement language and composition teacher-in-residence at Queen Creek Unified School District, during which time he guided his students to achieve the district’s highest test scores for four consecutive years. Joshua Zatcoff has also worked as a teacher for Arizona Language Schools.
Mr. Zatcoff’s earlier career as an attorney, meanwhile, began in 2008, when he joined the US Department of Commerce as a law clerk, a role that involved supporting the 2010 national decennial census. As a student attorney for the Family Law Project in Boston, he performed extensive pro bono work for indigent victims of domestic violence, among other activities. Between 2013 and 2014, he served the Arizona Attorney General as a member of the Department of Financial Remedies, establishing a perfect case record.
Joshua Zatcoff graduated summa cum laude with an education degree from Rio Salado College in Tempe, Arizona. He also holds a politics degree from Brandeis University. While at Brandeis, he placed second in a national essay competition on the topic of religious freedom. He received his law degree from New England Law Boston.
